Southerly winds and it was down to the Maze for the first time in 10 years.
Nowadays the access is restricted from the North (the original Maze route)
and the approach from the South is through a ford and some seriously soft
sand. On top of that it's a downwind sail to the break which means an
upwind slog when you're knackered.
Lightish winds again so it was big wave kit. Plenty of waves to be caght
but the riding wasn't so easy as it was cross onshore. Loads of power out
back but not enough for airtime where the ramps were. Another day in (cold)
paradise with the added bonus of getting 2 vans and a minibus stuck on the
way back. The pros were down later when the waves cleaned up to show us how
it's done (local knowledge). The loop pot is still unclaimed.
